In operation since late 2002, Southern Tier Brewing Company of Lakewood, New York is a fan favorite for craft beer lovers. Boasting an impressive portfolio of year round and seasonal brews, owners Phin and Sara DeMink keep expanding and pushing the boundaries of their vision. One of their newest seasonal beers is an Imperial Milk Stout titled Crème Brulee
Appearance: Dark chocolate brown to black
Nose: Vanilla, Caramel, very strong notes of butterscotch candy and vanilla icing.
Palate: Like a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing. Hints of burnt buttered toast (in a good way!)
Finish: Evaporates right off the tongue. No trace of the 10% ABV. The dark chocolate notes really come out here.
Beer Buyer Overall Rating: 4.5 Out Of 5 Pints
